"I've been meaning to write for ages and tell you that Bella is becoming a really wonderful horse!  She is a perfect testament to your breeding, imprinting and training program.  She has a great mind, is self-assured and steady, not just for a 4 year old, but for any horse of any age. She loads and trailers quietly every time without fail and handles new situations with incredible self-confidence.  People can hardly believe that she is only four.  She'll go out by herself but doesn't get fussy in a group. When we are out riding she will look at things with curiosity, which I like a lot, but has never refused to approach a "scary" object when asked and has NEVER spooked.

She seems to enjoy riding and training, she always walks out with purpose and loves, loves, loves to jump.  She would make a perfect eventing horse but has just the right kind of sense for western events too.  She likes people and other horses and her personality is friendly and inquisitive and funny.  She wandered into the (very small) tack room last week and stood there, sort of wedged in between a table and chairs and a rack of saddles, just happily looking around at everything.  We were a little alarmed, but when we called her, she calmly backed herself out in an L-shape through the door and walked back out to the paddock.

Last but not least, she has become absolutely gorgeous!  She has lost her "baby" look, is developing nice muscle and looks a lot like Cruz. She has the most beautiful face I've ever seen on a quarter horse, feminine and smart.

I really appreciate your astute analysis when I was horse shopping, that Bella would be a good fit.  You were very straightforward, patient, factual and helpful.

PEPPYS LOST AND FOUND (GRACIE) is a 10 year old Registered APHA Bay mare (no white). She stands 15 H. GRACIE is born and bred to jump. Her grand dam was an AQHA World Hunter Champion. Her sire is an AQHA All-Around Champion with an ROM in Open Jumping. GRACIE excels at jumping whether she is in an arena or in the fields or on a trail. She is a very honest horse that listens to the rider and rates well.

GRACIE is also an excellent trail horse. She rides well with others, rides well at all speeds outside, can ride alone or in groups, mailboxes, cars, 4 wheelers, barking dogs, water and cattle do not bother her.

GRACIE has been hauled a lot. She leaves the ranch about every other week for a show or judged obstacle trail ride...or just a fun ride.
She has no vices. She bathes, clips, loads...she is very easy to get ready for a show and to travel. She is great in the fields and is turned out with both mares and geldings and is always everyone's Best Friend...She is the official "meet and greet" horse in our barn.

This lovely 15.1 H Hanoverian/Black and White Paint mare is very special. She has raised a family of Equestrian Girls and their friends. All girls have now gone to school or moved on to other horses and it is time for FRIDAY to raise another family of horse lovers. FRIDAY has a nice dressage foundation and has done some combined training. She has been in the hunt field, on nice trail rides, shown in small schooling shows and been used as a guest horse for children who know basic riding fundamentals and for adults. This great 10 year old QH gelding is the perfect horse if you need an extra-safe, no problems ever, no spook, well-trained riding companion. GUS has "been there and done that". GUS has been on trails all his life, starting as a cowboy horse and then coming to the ranch to be sold when he was 4 years old. We had him in training for 5 months with his current owner (shown in the picture). She has ridden and loved him for the past 6 years. He has given her the ability to ride with confidence. She has taken him to many judged obstacle trail rides which he excels. Nothing bothers GUS and if you show him what you want he will always try to please. CJ is an 11 year old 16.1 H Registered Red Dun Gelding. He is an own son of A Classic Cody. CJ loves to be loved and enjoys human companionship and bonds easily. CJ has had excellent training through the years and has been owned for the past 6 years by a girl that showed him regularly in English Pleasure. CJ loves trail riding and has a wonderful way of going. We feel like CJ would make a great family trail horse. A Big Solid Horse that is gentle and easy to get along with and rides both english and western. The perfect blend of comfort and training for the ultimate in a good riding trail horse. $4500

SMUDGE is an 8 year old Connemara pony mare. She stands 13...3 and 1/2 Hands. SMUDGE was shown in hand as a yearling at the Region III Connemara show.  She has trail ridden at the ranch and has been started over 18" poles. SMUDGE is currently training in consistent ring work and we think she would make a wonderful hunter/jumper pony for the right child.  She is a great pony project with a fantastic start. $3000 (Her owner will take her back if she doesn't work out or if your child outgrows her and you can't find her a new home.)

 

   

TEZZE is a 2 year old 15.1.H Palomino Filly. She is a daughter of Codys Classic Cruzer out of a Zippo Pine Bar mare. TEZZE's dam is a Buckskin mare and her sire is a Golden Dun Stallion. TEZZE was headed for the show pen as a yearling when a small lesion was discovered in the bone of her left hind foot. The lesion was removed and TEZZE regained about 85% of her soundness. She is broodmare, sound and very comfortable in the pasture. TEZZE will make an outstanding broodmare. She has color and the genetic color to back up her Palomino and Buckskin heritage. She has the outstanding bloodlines of Zippo Pine Bar, A Classic Cody, Smoky Duster Too and Hot Rodders Jet Set. Her sire has had an outstanding career in the reining show pen and will be campaigned as an All-Around AQHA Athlete. She is ready to breed to the stallion of your choice in 2011. TEZZE was being groomed for Yearling Lunge Line Competition when the lesion was discovered. She has all the wonderful ground manners of a show horse....clips, bathes, stands in cross ties, lunges, leads well, and trailers well.
