Testimonials

Riding at Mountaintop Ranch with my family was the highlight of our trip to Massanutten Resort.  I had the pleasure of riding with my sister and our 3 daughters, aged 7 – 12 at Mountaintop Ranch in May, 2014.  We were warmly greeted by Karla and her family and were excited to meet our horses for our ride.  The little girls especially loved the little white Chincoteague pony my daughter rode.  The orientation and instruction provided to the less experienced riders in our group was excellent and the girls felt safe and in control the entire ride.  The trails were quiet and shady and the view at the end of our ride was breathtaking.  All the horses were calm and very well-mannered on the trail and we were sorry when our ride came to an end.  Mountaintop is an easy and pretty ride from the Massanutten Resort.  Our girls are begging to go back and the youngest is starting riding lessons, inspired by her first real riding experience at Mountaintop.  When we return to Massanutten, Mountaintop Ranch will be the first reservation me make.

"The 1 hour trail ride my wife, daughter, and I took at Mountaintop Ranch was absolutely outstanding and easily the highlight of our vacation.  The small grouping of riders (just the 3 of us) with an extremely knowledgable and personable guide made us feel at ease while winding around the Blue Ridge mountain tops taking in the unbelievable views, scenery, and wildlife.  By far this was the best trail ride I've been on and I strongly recommend taking the time to experience it for yourselves if you are in the area."

Best wishes and we definitely stop by if we are in the area again.

-Michael
